2009 Ammendments to AAPM Governance Documents

RE:             2009 Ammendments to AAPM Governance Documents

At its November 2008 and March 2009 meetings, the Board of Directors approved the following amendments to the AAPM Articles of Incorporation and By-Laws. These proposed amendments are now being sent to the membership for comment. Please send comments to the AAPM Secretary, either directly at john.gibbons@marybird.com, or through Lisa Giove at AAPM Headquarters:

• Proposed Amendments to the Articles of Incorporation, By-Laws, and Rules regarding Membership Categories
• Proposed Amendments to the By-Laws regarding Election Aspects
• Proposed Amendments to the By-Laws regarding Adding Indemnification

The comments will be reported at the Annual Business Meeting on Wednesday, July 29, 5:30 PM - 6:45 PM in Room 210A of the Anaheim Convention Center, and additional comments may be made there. The proposed amendments and the comments will be communicated to the membership after the annual meeting for a vote, in accordance with the procedure for amending the By-Laws.
