Join us Thursday, March 27, from noon to 1 p.m. EDT to discuss radiation dose.
Our guest moderator will be Mahadevappa Mahesh, MS, PhD (@mmahesh1), associate professor of radiology at Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine and chief physicist at Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore. His research interests are in medical imaging, particularly in areas of multi-detector computed tomography, interventional fluoroscopy, and digital mammography. Mahesh edits JACR’s Dose Optimization Center, an online resource for radiologists on CT dose optimization.
1. How do you discuss the risks and benefits of imaging with your patients or referring physicians?
2. What information should be communicated to patients about radiation dose?
3. How do you know if your radiation dose is in the right range?
