Welcome!
Orlando is the host city for the 2006 AAPM Annual Meeting. The area offers something for everyone. While best known for its collection of theme parks, Orlando has historic and cultural draws as well, along with many choices for evening entertainment and dining. The meeting will take place in the West Building of the Orange County Convention Center, located just 15 minutes from the Orlando International Airport. Begin your planning now to participate in another successful meeting of the AAPM.
An expanded education program, combined with an enhanced professional program, will offer significant opportunity to gain practical knowledge on emerging technical and professional issues. A major focus of the scientific program is the increasing integration of advanced imaging concepts in the routine practice of various therapies, especially radiotherapy. New this year is a symposium of proffered papers, named to honor John Laughlin, on a topic chosen by Science Council as a field deserving special focus. Check back for further updates.
