2007 AAPM Summer School

MEETING LOCATION AND CAMPUS MAP

St. John's University is located in Collegeville, MN, about 1 hour north of Minneapolis.

The Summer School sessions will take place in Pellegrine Science Center Auditorium. Friday's evening session will take place in Brother Willie's Pub. Meals will be served in the Sexton Commons Dining Hall. Dormitory Housing will be provided in St. Benet Hall, Placid and Maur Houses, or St. Vincent Court. Please refer to the Campus Map.

Rental car group rates are available at AVIS.

Your paid registration includes a roundtrip bus ticket to and from St. John's University. On Thursday, July 26, buses will depart from the

Look for our Meet and Greet Team and don't be late. Roundtrip bus service is part of your registration fee, and is nonrefundable. Motorcoaches have a restroom in the rear of the bus.

Return Bus Service at the Conclusion of the Summer School
Following the conclusion of the final session on Sunday, July 29 at Noon, buses will return from St. John's University to Minneapolis St. Paul International Airport (MSP). Buses will take approximately one hour and fifteen minutes to reach the airport. Please plan your flights accordingly.

Note: If you plan to depart earlier than Noon on Sunday, July 29, please make your own arrangements (rental car or scheduled shuttle bus).

Shuttle Service from St. John's
If the roundtrip bus provided by the Summer School does not work with your flight schedule, you may wish to schedule shuttle service through Executive Express. The 12-passenger shuttle picks up and drops off in front of the St. John's Abbey. Fares are $56 one-way and $100 roundtrip, but advance reservations are required. Driving Directions from Minneapolis Convention Center

  • From the corner of 12th Street South and 2nd Ave South, look for the Central Lutheran Church on your right.  
  • Look for 2 signs "Local Streets" and "To I-94 West" on the right -- follow around the church.
  • Take I-94 West, approximately 25 miles. 
  • Take I-94 West to St. John's University, exit #156.

  • Take MN#5 West to I-494 West. 
  • Take I-494 West to I-94 West, approximately 25 miles. 
  • Take I-94 West to St. John's University, exit #156.
  • At the top of the exit ramp take a left turn and go about one mile to the 4 way stop.
  • Proceed straight ahead toward Abbey Church.
  • Take the 2nd right turn (after the stop sign), at the blue welcome sign and that will take you down into the Mary Hall/Sexton parking lot.
  • Enter Mary Hall through doors on the lower level (east entrance) for Summer School registration and housing assignments. Look for signs.

PARKING ON CAMPUS

Parking is free for all registered attendees of the Summer School.

CAMPUS SECURITY

Life Safety Services Dispatch is staffed 24 hours a day.  Please call x2144 to request assistance or make a report from any campus phone.  Or call 911 from a campus phone.  The call will go to Campus Security, who will then notify the Stearns County Sheriff if assistance is needed.

July temperatures range from a low of 61 to a high of 83 degrees Fahrenheit. Feel free to dress casually and comfortably.
