The first step in the process of obtaining board certification for radiotherapy physics by the American Board of Radiology can be an overwhelming experience, but it doesn’t have to be. This talk will start with an overview of the requirements that must be met in order to sit for Part I of the ABR board exam. We will then identify the wide range of topics that have been emphasized during recent years and the overall exam procedure. You’ll be pointed in the direction of relevant study material and given an efficient organizational-framework to help guide you through the preparatory process.
