Invenia ABUS is a new paradigm in ultrasound breast cancer screening, focused on excellent image quality, patient comfort, and high clinical throughput. To meet the imaging demands, Invenia ABUS employs a large curved transducer, wide ultrasound beams, and GPU software beam forming. Images are pre-optimized to standardized scanning protocols, eliminating the need for per-patient adjustments. Patients are comfortably supine during imaging. Uniform acquisitions, flexible review system integration, and intuitive user interfaces allow for rapid ultrasound screening workflow.

As an emerging technology in breast cancer screening, the growth and development of Invenia ABUS has been both exciting and challenging. The responses from the clinicians and patients have been fantastic, but there remains much more to bring Invenia ABUS to the forefront.

Learning Objectives:
1. Understand the design of the Invenia ABUS system
2. Understand advantages and challenges with the Invenia ABUS system
3. Have the opportunity to image advanced phantoms with the ABUS system
