Career:
Dr. Papanikolaou is an active member of several professional organizations, including AAPM, ACMP, ASTRO and ESTRO where he has served in a number of task groups and committees. He has been invited to present in several national and international meetings and he serves as an associate editor for the journals of Medical Physics and the Journal of Applied Clinical Medical Physics.  He has authored and co-authored several papers in the area of radiation oncology and medial physics.  His clinical and research interest include, dose computation algorithms, intensity modulated radiotherapy, optimization and image guided radiotherapy.
