Charge

To identify, at the earliest possible point in time, innovative technologies or processes that will impact Medical Physics practice and research activities. TETAWG will have the responsibility to alert the community to these developments through reporting within the AAPM structure and through the generation of ‘Blue Papers’ that predict the impact of the technology or process on the clinical, professional, education, and research agendas of the AAPM. These will be reviewed by the Therapy Physics Committee and Science Council before going for peer-reviewed publication in Medical Physics. Through the efforts of the TETAWG, it is anticipated that the leadership and membership of the AAPM will have increased awareness of arising technologies and the Task Group reports related to new technologies and processes will be made more timely.
