Charge a) To develop a concise review of the physical bases for image space and k-space based parallel imaging techniques; b) To elucidate the tradeoffs between SNR, artifacts, acceleration factor, and magnetic field strength; c) To propose specific QC tests for systems with parallel imaging capabilities; and d) to describe and illustrate some of the "routine" and advanced MRI acquisitions using image space and/or k-space based parallel imaging techniques.
