Charge

1. Develop a manual and spreadsheet for physicists to use as a reference for acceptance testing & performance of annual physics surveys of gamma cameras, SPECT & SPECT/CT cameras. a. Current ACR, NEMA, & IEC documents to be used as references. b. A consensus from several expert physicists on tests to be performed will be obtained.

2. Specify a set of phantoms to be used for acceptance tests & annual surveys. a. Test phantoms described in ACR, NEMA, & IEC documents to be used as the basis for these phantoms. Modifications may be necessary. b. Phantoms will be validated by committee members. c. Provide sufficient description so phantoms may be commercialized.

3. Specify a software program to import & analyze images acquired during acceptance testing & annual physics surveys. a. Image analysis is based on current ACR, NEMA, and IEC documents & of software currently available. b. Provide sufficient description so software program may be commercialized.
