Baucus Sets Sept. 15 Deadline For Senate Finance Deal, Reconciliation Looms

Senate Finance Committee Chair Max Baucus (D-MT) has set Sept. 15 as the deadline for his panel’s bipartisan group of six to reach a compromise health reform bill, Sen. Charles Schumer (D-NY) told reporters Monday in a press call organized by Senate leadership.
