CMSCMS' Physician Advisory Panel Quietly Axed Due to Reform LawHHS has quietly dissolved a long-standing CMS physician advisory panel as a result of a clause tucked into the final health reform legislation, Inside Health Policy has learned. HHS informed members of the Practicing Physicians Advisory Council (PPAC) in an April 16 letter that the health reform bill permanently dissolves the advisory committee, but has not publicly announced the decision...
