Celebrate the 3rd International Day of Medical Physics
Join AAPM in celebrating the 3rd annual International Day of Medical Physics on Saturday, Nov. 7. The International Organization for Medical Physics (IOMP) organizes this annual celebration, and this year’s theme is: “Better Medical Physics = Better Cancer Care in Radiation Oncology.”
To start the conversation, AAPM has developed communications materials to raise awareness of the profession and draw attention to the vital role medical physicists play in patient care. Participate in the celebration by obtaining suggested social media posts and a copy of the IOMP poster. Print and display the poster at your institution and use the social media posts to join the online conversation. Your active participation is greatly appreciated. It’s time to step out from behind the curtain and make the value of our profession known to our colleagues, supervisors, administrators and patients.
