𝗔𝗔𝗣𝗠 𝗚𝗹𝗼𝗯𝗮𝗹 𝗡𝗲𝗲𝗱𝘀 𝗔𝘀𝘀𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗦𝘂𝗿𝘃𝗲𝘆 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗠𝗲𝗱𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗣𝗵𝘆𝘀𝗶𝗰𝗶𝘀𝘁𝘀 The goal of the recently established International Council (IC) of the American Association of Physicists in Medicine is to identify and develop strategies for advancing the practice of #MedPhys globally, address disparities in healthcare and develop mitigation strategies in collaboration with other global stakeholders. To maximize the impact of the IC's work there is an urgent need to conduct a rigorous up-to-date needs assessment. If you are a medical physicist working in a Low-to-Middle-Income Country (#LMICs), the AAPM Global Needs Assessment Committee would appreciate your help in responding to this confidential survey. Responding to this survey is estimated to take about 15 minutes or less. If you have any questions about the survey, contact the Global Needs Assessment Committee at gnac at aapm dot org. Please click on the link for additional information and to complete the survey. Also, please forward the link to other medical physicists in your contacts: https://aapm.me/RNASurvey #GlobalHealth

Improving Health Through Medical Physics
About us
The mission of AAPM is advancing medicine through excellence in the science, education and professional practice of medical physics; a broad-based scientific and professional discipline which encompasses physical principles with applications in biology and medicine. With over 9500 members in 94 countries, AAPM supports the Medical Physics community with a focus on advancing patient care through education, improving safety and efficacy of radiation oncology and medical imaging procedures through research, and the maintenance of professional standards. AAPM publishes two scholarly journals Medical Physics, and the Journal of Applied Clinical Medical Physics (JACMP), as well as an AAPM Report Series. AAPM sponsors three scientific meetings each year, a spring clinical meeting, a main summer annual meeting, and a fall scientific meeting (joint with the Radiological Society of North America).
