AIRPORT

Sea-Tac International Airport is located 15 miles south of the University Campus. While taxis are readily available for hire ($40-$45 to UW), attendees may also use the following ground transportation alternatives.

SHUTTLE EXPRESS

Telephone: 1-800-487-7433
Web address: www.shuttleexpress.com
$23 per person - shared ride

This service picks up on request at Baggage claims 1 and 16 of Sea-Tac Airport. Go to the nearest Traveler's Information Center in the baggage claims area, after you have claimed your luggage and dial # 48.

It may take anywhere from 30 minutes to 1 hour to get to UW depending on the stops for the other passengers on the shuttle.

CITY BUS

If you have lots of time (1-2 hours) and very little luggage, you may take city bus #194 from baggage claim #1 to downtown Seattle. Be prepared to transfer to the University area bus routes (#70, 71, 72, 73 - ask your driver) and be dropped at the University Ave and NE 42nd street, about a 10 minute walk from the dormitories. Metro bus information is available at: www.metrokc.gov
