To show the experience and results of the first TrueBeam™ linac in Latin America.
Methods:
Several data were analyzed and compared among installation, manufacturer and own measurements. It was necessary to define a base line for our own Quality Assurance program. Some comparisons were made with others TrueBeam users in order to be placed based on our quality and confidence level.
Results:
We show the complete process since vault construction until first patient treatment. The process is complex and full of information that will be shown at the meeting.
Conclusion:
This experience is unique now in our region so it is important to share the experience as a developer country and exchange trouble shooting with medical physics community around the world.
