meeting are deeply appreciated, especially in this changing era with
increasing demands of time on all health care professionals. George
Starkschall and I either directly or indirectly solicited the
contribution of time and effort of all those individuals listed below.
Together, we offer our heartfelt personal thanks to those scientists
who have contributed their individual talents to this meeting.
Whatever our individual roles might be this year, all of us who attend
the Boston meeting are the direct beneficiaries of the hard work and
long hours of preparation that are contributed to the society by the
invited speakers and abstract reviewers listed below. Therefore, on
behalf of the attending membership and the AAPM, I would also like to
express a debt of gratitude to these individuals.
The AAPM staff members at the Headquarters office in College Park,
Maryland, who organized all aspects of this meeting are Lisa Rose
Sullivan and Angela R. Keyser. Most of the membership is unaware of
their efforts and even their roles, but over the past year I had a
special insight in these regards. These two women are committed and
talented professionals from head to toe, and it was a complete joy to
work with both of them. In a world of mostly unmet expectations, it was
quite refreshing to have worked with two who both contribute 120\%
effort. Thank you, Lisa and Angela, for nothing short of a phenomenal
performance.
