Social Program


In an effort too reduce registration fees for guests, AAPM has modified the tickets that are included in the registration categories for guests. "Companion" registrants will receive tickets to the Icebreaker and Awards Ceremony & Reception. No social tickets are included in the "Young Adult" and "Child" categories. Tickets for the Icebreaker, Night Out, and Awards Ceremony & Reception may be purchased separately.

Icebreaker

Plan to attend this opening event on Sunday, July 23 from 6:30 -8:30 pm at the Boston Marriott Copley Place. Light hors d'oeuvres will be served. Each ticket for the event will include two drink tickets.

Night Out

AAPM's "Summer in the City" Lobsterbake is scheduled on Monday, July 24, 6:00 pm - Midnight at the Marina Bay Club. The New England Lobster-Clambake is a time-honored tradition. Your "Summer in the City" evening will be held at Marina Bay, a scenic, quaint harborfront community south of Boston. From AAPM's private tent you will be treated to a spectacular view of the Boston skyline. Be sure to wear comfortable clothing as volleyball and basketball courts will be available for casual play.

As the summer sun begins to set, you will be invited to enjoy a quintessential Down East Lobsterbake, comprised of fresh lobster, clam chowder, corn on the cob, Booston baked beans, oven-roasted potatoes, watermelon, and ice cream novelties. After dinner there will be dancing and games. Each ticket will include four drink ticketss redeemable for beer or wine (two tickets for each) or soft drinks (just one). Children's under four are admitted free!

Awards Ceremony

Recipients of special awards will be honored at a ceremony followed by a wine and cheese reception at the Boston Marriott Copley Place on Tuesday, July 25, from 6:00 pm - 8:30 pm.
