Officially recognized AAPM groups wishing to independently post electronic information to the internet

1. shall have that information* reviewed by the chair and/or vice chair of the parent group prior to sharing,
2. shall ensure that any content that may be interpreted as the position or view of the AAPM (other than a direct link to AAPM content) must clearly state that it is the position or view of the individual author or group and does not necessarily reflect the position of the AAPM,
3. shall ensure content, including images, does not violate copyright or trademark protections,
4. shall ensure that content that may be inappropriate or offensive is not shared,
5. shall link back to the corresponding AAPM web page or social media account, if one exists; otherwise it shall link back to AAPM.org,
6. shall provide login credentials to AAPM staff,
7. may use official AAPM logos as approved by AAPM staff.

*Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, and Linked In posts are exempt from the requirement to have information reviewed by the parent group chair and/or vice-chair (item 1). All other requirements still apply. 

Affiliated social media accounts may be monitored for appropriateness of content by AAPM staff in order to ensure compliance with this Policy.  EMCC has jurisdiction over all web-related content that is created and maintained under this Policy.
