MOC/SAMs
SELF ASSESSMENT MODULES
  • Completion of two Self Assessment Modules (SAMs) per year is a requirement for the Maintenance of Certification (MOC) process as defined by the American Board of Radiology (ABR). AAPM program organizers have identified sessions in Diagnostic, Nuclear Medicine and Therapy Physics to be offered with audience response technology at the annual meeting in 2008.

Please note! Before you purchase any of the social event tickets below, please make sure that it is not included with your registration type and fee. Tickets may also be purchased on site at the Registration counter at the George R. Brown Convention Center.

If you are purchasing tickets to the Gala Anniversary Celebration, during the registration process you will be asked to specify your meal preference. Choices will be for vegetarian, kosher and regular. Click here for Gala dinner menu descriptions.

Virtual Library Presentations - CD ROM Sales

Exhibit Hall D – Level One

AAPM has partnered with Blue Sky Broadcast to host AAPM educational courses on the AAPM website via the AAPM Virtual Library. Selected presentations given at the Annual Meeting will be captured for posting. The posted presentations will include streaming audio of the speakers, transcription of the audio presentations, and slides of the presentations.

AAPM plans to digitally capture the following session types:

Note: Proffered sessions are not included in the AAPM Virtual Library.

Order CD ROMs of selected presentations given at the Annual Meeting and other AAPM meetings via the online registration system or at the meeting.

Details on pricing and CD ROM content will be available at the Virtual Library counter. Stop by and speak with a Blue Sky representative for details and a demonstration of this service or to place your CD order.

Resident Weekly

Review Course Student/Resident

In order to qualify for this registration type, you must fax a letter from your Program Director that includes:

  • the name of the institution and its address
  • phone, fax & e-mail of the program director
  • area of specialization (e.g., Radiation Oncology Physics, Radiation Oncology, etc.)
  • start date and intended completion date

Failure to fax this letter will render your registration incomplete.
