 Continuing Education Credits

The 2005 AAPM Annual Meeting will be submitted for approval for continuing education credit by the Commission on Accreditation of Medical Physics Education Programs, Inc. (CAMPEP). We anticipate that for each hour of verified attendance (this includes scientific sessions, poster discussion sessions, symposia, professional and educational courses), 1 MPCEC hour of credit will be awarded. AAPM will request up to eight (8) credits for general poster viewing.

*New for 2005* To obtain credit, attendees must complete an on-line evaluation survey. Internet terminals will be available on-site for this purpose, or attendees may use their own laptops at the Wireless Lounge near the registration area. Please note you will require your badge I.D. in order to complete the CEC evaluation survey. After the meeting, registrants will be sent a transcript which will list a description of the sessions and the number of continuing education credits obtained.

The Medical Dosimetrist Certification Board has approved a total of 201.50 credits for the 2005 AAPM Annual Meeting program. Medical Dosimetrists should complete a session evaluation booklet and turn it in before leaving the meeting. Following the meeting, you will receive a transcript which will include a description of the sessions and the number of MDCB continuing education credits obtained.
