University of California, San Diego is located in La Jolla, California, approximately 13 miles from the (SAN) San Diego International Airport. All sessions take place in Price Center Theater unless otherwise noted.

Ground Transportation

Taxi fare (one way) from San Diego International Airport is ~ $46 with tip. The trip takes 20 minutes.
Cloud 9 Shuttle: For groups of up to four, Cloud 9 Shuttle provides economical van service to UCSD with a one-day notice.

Visitor Parking
For those registrants who opt to stay on campus, a student parking permit is included with campus housing. Please ask at the Muir Conference Service Center for a permit upon check-in. Although open parking spaces are not guaranteed, Lot #208 does have some yellow striped student parking spaces. See parking map link above for further student parking lot information.

Not staying on campus? Consider visiting the Gilman Parking Office, where you can purchase parking stickers for $8/daily. The daily passes will allow you to park in any lot on campus. For more parking information, please call the Gilman Parking Office at 858-534-4223.

Checking in On Campus
Upon arrival, please check-in at Muir Half Dome Lounge, located at 10007 North Torrey Pines Road, La Jolla, CA 92093.
6:30am - Midnight, 7 days a week.

Taxi drivers should know where they are going, but here are directions to the Muir Conference Service Center, just in case:
Take Interstate 5 to La Jolla Village Drive exit.
Go straight through the first three stoplights.
The third stoplight is Torrey Pines Road (at this point, La Jolla Village Drive becomes North Torrey Pines Road).
To go to the Muir Conference Service Center, continue straight through the light to Muir College Drive and turn right; park in lot 208 and follow the signs.
