International Day of Radiology 2015
The International Day of Radiology (IDoR) is Sunday, November 8, 2015. IDoR 2015 marks the 120th anniversary of the discovery of the X-ray and will focus on improvements in children’s health care made possible by medical imaging and radiation oncology. IDoR 2015 will also include celebrations during National Radiologic Technology Week (Nov. 8–14).
AAPM is joining more than 100 medical societies around the world in marking this very special day. We invite you and your practice to take part as well.
Please take advantage of an online “communications toolkit,” developed to help spread the word about IDoR. The toolkit includes a customizable news release, op-ed, print and web advertisements as well as other resources, and can be accessed directly at acr.org/IDOR.
