Virgina becomes the 36th Agreement State effective March 31, 2009
The Nuclear Regulatory Commission has completed an agreement with the commonwealth of Virginia, under which Virginia will assume NRC’s regulatory authority over certain nuclear materials in the state. See NRC's Press Release.
