By Air
Philadelphia International Airport (PHL)

SEPTA Airport Express Train from the Airport
The Airport Express Train leaves 9 minutes after every half hour; get off at the University City Station on Convention Ave. The fare is $6.00 and the ride takes 18 minutes to the University City Station. More SEPTA information.

Taxi from the Airport
A metered taxicab costs about $26.00 (not including gratuity) and the ride takes about 20 minutes.  

By Train
The Philadelphia 30th Street Station (PHL) is just a few blocks from campus. You can walk, or take Trolley 13 from the 30th Street Trolley Station. (Five minute ride to the 37th Street Trolley Station. Cost is $2.00 or one token.)

Note that the South Street Bridge near campus is currently closed for construction.

Traveling from the AAPM Annual Meeting at the Philadelphia Convention Center
The AAPM Summer School immediately follows the Annual Meeting, July 18-22, 2010. The University is about 8 miles from the convention center, or about 10 minutes by cab. Or walk to the Juniper Trolley Station located at Market and Juniper. Trolley line 34 will take you to the 37th Street Trolley Station. The trip will take 13 minutes and cost $2.00 or one token.

Parking

There are several parking facilities located on or near campus, as well as metered street parking. Parking Map (click on Lot 8 at 34th and Spruce). Street parking spaces are usually limited to either 2 or 3 hours and cost $1.50 per hour, so be sure to bring quarters. Some garages may charge a flat fee and prices vary. Please note that Penn does not validate parking. Penn is located in a city setting so please allow ample time to find parking and make your way to Houston Hall.

What to Pack

Guests may wish to bring a laptop. Those staying on-campus will receive an internet user name and password at check-in. Internet access will not be provided during the sessions. You may also wish to bring
