ChargeThis Working Group will pursue several projects involving AAPM-supported databases of relevant research and/or researchers in the field of Medical Physics and related disciplines. The initial project is to pursue the creation of (and then continued support for) and AAPM-managed database of federally funded (NIH, NSF, DOE, DOD, etc.) research in Medical Physics and related disciplines with the goal of maintaining a list of active researchers and projects. These databases can potentially help NIH and others identify potential reviewers, help researchers identify potential collaborators, and generally make more visible the significant amount of research in with AAPM members are involved.
