  • National AI Initiative
National AI Initiative Office launches the AI Researchers Portal that connects AI researchers to Federal resources that can support their research, including data, computing, and testbeds, as well as AI-relevant grant funding programs. It also provides searchable repositories of approximately 140 current Federal grant programs relevant to AI, and around 40 Federally-funded testbed resources, in addition to a wide variety of data and computing resources useful for AI research. This portal is one of many tools and approaches for advancing the Nation’s leadership in AI research and development – the first goal of the National AI Initiative.

    • Episode #28 | AAPM Webinar Series on Advances in Medical Physics
Thoughts on the Implementation of AI in Clinical Practice
Artificial intelligence (AI) is changing the world and will likely transform healthcare. In the past several years, a lot of research has been done in the field of AI in medicine in general, and also, specifically, in radiation oncology. We have seen a lot of exciting research work published, however, very few of these tools have been used in routine clinical practice. In this talk, I will discuss these challenges and present some thoughts and work on potential solutions.
