International Day of Radiology 2022
The eleventh International Day of Radiology (IDoR) is November 8, 2022. The International Day of Radiology is an annual event held with the aim of building greater awareness of the value that radiology contributes to safe patient care, and improving understanding of the vital role radiologists and radiological technologists play in the healthcare continuum. IDoR 2022 marks the 127th anniversary of the 1895 discovery of the X-ray by German physicist Wilhelm Röntgen. IDoR 2022 will also include celebrations during National Radiologic Technology Week (November 6–12).
