  • Deadline for receipt of 300 word abstracts and supporting data.
  • This deadline recognizes other conference schedules that have conflicted in the past and has been extended accordingly.
  • There will be NO EXTENSION OF THIS DEADLINE. Authors must submit their abstracts by this time to be considered for review.

This year AAPM offers complimentary wi-fi in the Exhibit Hall, all AAPM session rooms and function space.

Need to charge your phone or other electronic device? Charging stations will be located in the Exhibit Hall.

Companions Welcome Room

All registered companions are welcome! Stop by to chat with friends, meet with family members after sightseeing, or grab a cold drink. A hostess with knowledge of the local attractions will be available to address your questions and interests each morning, Sunday through Wednesday, until 11:00am.

The AAPM Women’s Professional Subcommittee and the Students and Trainees Subcommittee collaborated on this inaugural effort to stimulate interest in science and give middle and high school students a unique opportunity. Approximately 30 students will tour our exhibit show floor on Sunday, guided by a diverse group of medical physicist mentors.

12:45 pm: Participants escorted to meeting room
1:00 pm – 2:00 pm: Welcome Address and Q&A session
2:00 pm – 3:00 pm: Tour of exhibit hall with AAPM member volunteers
3:00 pm – 3:30 pm: Post-tour Q&A and refreshments with AAPM volunteers at Partner in Solutions room

Child Care

No sponsored child care will be offered during this meeting. Three services offering child care in the Denver area include urbansitter.com, sittercity.com and care.com. AAPM does not endorse these or any other caregiving services. Parents are responsible for decisions made regarding child care services.

Air Travel

Denver International Airport (DEN)
Drive time depends on traffic: 35 minutes (25 miles) to downtown Denver

The A-Line Rail Service, Denver's "Train to the Plane"

At a cost of $9 each way, travelers can use the rail service, known as the A Line, to get from the airport to Denver Union Station and vice versa courtesy of the Regional Transportation District (RTD), metro Denver's public transit provider.

The A Line connects travelers to Union Station in the heart of downtown Denver. From Union Station, take the free 16th Street Mall shuttle (MallRide) which provides access to most downtown hotels. More information »
