Report No. 034 - Acceptance Testing of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Systems (1992) Category: Reports The purpose of this document is to suggest and define elements that could constitute an Acceptance Test for magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) devices. The emphasis is on discussing the relevance, applicability, and performance of these elements as opposed to suggesting one comprehensive model for testing a generic MRI device. This approach is necessitated by the diversity of devices in the marketplace, as well as the availability of specific test equipment for the testing physicist.
