This year's program will be held in the Indiana Convention Center. The education program and professional program will offer a significant opportunity to gain practical knowledge on emerging technical and professional issues.The scientific program will feature the latest research in the physics of medical imaging and radiation therapy, including a major focus on the increasing integration on advanced imaging technologies in the guidance of medical therapeutics.

There is more to Indianapolis than its annual 500-mile race. There are more than 85 restaurants in the Wholesale District neighborhood surrounding the convention center. Visitors will enjoy the famous local hospitality as well as the farm-to-table trend. Many chefs have partnered with Indiana farmers to bring the freshest ingredients to menus. Indy is a walkable city; Monument Circle was recently named one of the "10 Great Public Spaces" by the American Planning Association. What's New This Year

• Special Ultrasound Program (Monday – Tuesday, August 5 - 6). A dedicated two-day program of invited and proffered talks is scheduled for Therapeutic Ultrasound (August 5) and Ultrasound Imaging for Therapy Guidance (August 6).
• Complimentary wi-fi throughout the Indiana Convention Center (AAPM meeting rooms, exhibit hall and function space)
• Donors' Lounge - Individuals who have made a cumulative lifetime donation of $500 or more to the Education & Research Fund will have access to the Lounge. Comfortable seating, beverages and electronic charging stations will be available in the Donors' Lounge.

January 16	Electronic Abstract Submission System: Activated for receipt of submissions To begin the submission process, first review the Abstract Submission Instructions information.
February 28 5:00 PM ET	Abstract Submissions: DEADLINE Deadline for receipt of 300 word abstracts and supporting data. This deadline recognizes other conference schedules that have conflicted in the past and has been extended accordingly. There will be NO EXTENSION OF THIS DEADLINE. Authors must submit their abstracts by this time to be considered for review.
March 27	Meeting Registration and Housing available online
April 23	Authors notified of presentation disposition
May 2	Meeting Program available online
June 19	Deadline to receive early registration fees
July 9	Housing reservation deadline
July 11	Deadline to cancel housing reservation without a $25 cancellation fee
July 11	Fees for registration will be refunded in full if written notice of cancellation is received by July 11, 2013
July 11	Last day to register for SAMs
August 4-8	55th AAPM Annual Meeting & Exhibition
September 4 11:59 PM ET	Deadline to complete the online evaluation in order to receive CAMPEP Credit (equivalent to CME category 1)
September 11	Credits will be released for meeting attendees
