The New Member / Meet the Experts Symposium has been organized differently for 2011! The symposium will focus on issues particularly relevant to new members. Following an introduction from the AAPM President, George Sherouse will address professional etiquette. Next will be a panel focusing on the current job market with experts representing a large private practice group, academia, and recruiting. The symposium will conclude with a social with the “experts” AKA AAPM leadership. During the social, all new members will have a drink ticket and also have a chance to win an exciting door prize such as free registration to the 2012 meeting in Charlotte, NC. What a great way to learn valuable information and network with the organization!

Members of the AAPM Board of Directors want to hear directly from the membership. What should AAPM be working on? How can the organization better serve you? Here's your chance to be heard. AAPM's President and Treasurer will report on the status of the organization There will also be a discussion of proposed amendments to AAPM's By-Laws. The proposed amendments will then be voted on via an online vote in the fall.
