  1. Introduce disease conditions diagnosed and treated in invasive CV laboratories.
  2. Describe X-ray angiography and fluoroscopy imaging conditions unique to CV disease.
  3. Present technical considerations for X-ray fluoroscopy and angiography including X-ray control and generation, scatter rejection, image processing, and display.
  4. Recommend X-ray system performance tests specific to CV imaging (if not already included in TG 272 or other Reports).
  5. Recommend strategies to optimize the relationship between image quality and patient radiation dose.
  6. Describe special considerations for imaging pediatric patients.
