Activities

The objective of the TG is to develop a document to assist medical physicists in defining acceptance test and quality assurance procedures for pixelated gamma cameras with discrete detector elements. This document will provide suggestions for relevant and practical tests that a medical physicist may perform independently for evaluation of system performance. In addition, this document will provide an overview of the various commercially available pixelated gamma camera systems, list individual tests with rationale and suggested procedures, and where appropriate, suggested acceptance criteria.
