To provide guidelines on the use of MECT in estimating stopping-power ratios (SPR) and related range uncertainty regarding robust optimization and evaluation in treatment planning. To provide guidance and recommendations on acceptance, commissioning and the required quality assurance for MECT use in particle therapy planning and relevant FMEA.
